Ray Weiss

Music

Ray recorded as Le Rug. Before that, Sweet Bulbs and Butter The Children. The instruments are sold; the catalog is still up.

Le Rug was Ray's main music project from Brooklyn for years. Full discography at lerug.bandcamp.com, also on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes. The Bandcamp bio phrases it as "basically Ray Weiss & Friends." These days the focus is on the games and software, but the catalog is still up for anyone who wants to dig.

CatalogDNA once analyzed this four-hundred-track catalog as its development dataset. The canonical structural match came back as Pete Burns / Dead or Alive. One of the Le Rug albums is titled Party With Peter Burns, so the album's homage is also its fingerprint. For the full recursion, see the CatalogDNA page.
