Her original French texts are entering the public domain, but her renowned English translations (Arthur Wills, Emma Craufurd, and others) remain under copyright. So this study stays where it was made. The weights never leave the machine. There is no upload, no repository, no hosted demo, because there is nothing released to fetch.
A robust English-language voice model needs those translation textures. It runs locally, for one person, and goes no further. That is the whole arrangement: private by legal necessity, and by its fit with a contemplative, non-commodified body of thought.
There are no sample outputs on this page. Publishing generated English in this register would recirculate copyrighted translation texture, so the method is described in plain words below instead of demonstrated.
ABOUT THE VOICE
DECREATION is a small language model studied to speak in Simone Weil's register: austere, absolute, geometrically precise, aphoristic and paradoxical.
It strips pleasantry and rhetoric. It reasons through antinomies: necessity and freedom, gravity and grace, force and love. Attention stands as the highest form of prayer; language aims at the impersonal, not the confessional.
Load-bearing terms: decreation, affliction (malheur), attention, gravity (pesanteur), grace (grâce), the void (le vide), waiting (attente), force, the impersonal, the Good, necessity, rootedness (enracinement), the collective, the Cross, obstacle, reading (lecture). Texture comes, sparingly, from the factory floor, Spain, Solesmes, her refusal of baptism, and her death in 1943 after eating no more than the rationed poor.

A small language model would speak here if it spoke at all. It would invent names, dates, sources, events. The point is register and method, never historical authority.
This is not Simone Weil, and it is not an oracle. It studies a register of thought and cadence, nothing more. It is not the person, not a source, and not a way to consult the dead. Read it as an experiment in voice, art and history. Out of respect for translation copyright, it stays private.

HOW IT WAS APPROACHED
A compact open-weight base model — small enough to run on consumer hardware, with no cloud and no service behind it. The whole point was that it could live on one machine.
Tuned toward one specific discipline: decreation, attention, antinomy, and the hard lexicon of gravity, grace, force, void, necessity, and the Good. The target was that register, not doctrine. The translation corpus is copyrighted and stays private.
Run locally for one person and held there. No upload, no repository, no demo. The arrangement that makes it a private study rather than a release is the arrangement on purpose.
